The statue of Bodhidharma who was the third son of the Pallava King who ruled in the 6th century ( The Mahabalipuram sculptures can be recalled here ) who travelled to China and acquired some mystical powers.

@Harry: No...ha ha ha !! He is the willowy standing figure. The one in the middle is a Jade ( pale greenj ) statuette of the Laughing Buddha !!
