Hour of Dracula ?

Posted by
Devi (Chennai, India) on 21 September 2019 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

The bats had started flying in large numbers in the sky..........from our home balcony:) It had started drizzling and the water droplets ...may be on the lens..created quite some moons here !

A great capture of these bats! They move too fast. When I visited my son in Oregon, they came out every night from a whole in the attic. It is fun to watch them fly about.

21 Sep 2019 9:45pm

@Elaine Hancock: are right Elaine !! They move very dast May be the drizzle put a br4eak on their speed and I was able to capture the image !

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

The large bats must be the fruit eating ones. An excellent capture.

22 Sep 2019 12:19am

@Steve Rice: Yes they are fruit bats. They reside in the trees just two buildings beyond ours in a school compound. I believe there are 500 of them !
