Mhelene from Villiers-sur-Marne, France

Superb composition with the roof and dry leaves and green branches .

@Mhelene: Thank you Mhelene :)

grouser from Ludlow, United Kingdom

Mango on a hot tin roof rather than cat then :)

14 Aug 2019 9:48am

@grouser: Ha ha ha !! Yes it waspretty hot then. Now for the past two days, the weather is better :))) By the way, the cat has gone on a sojourn I think ! She has been missing :)

@Hiro: :)) That IS a wish :)

Rose from Clinton, United States

Every where I turn, I see things that remind me I need to get up and check the guttering on our house. I cannot do it without Roger to help me with the ladder and that is even hard on him now.

14 Aug 2019 12:37pm

@Rose: May be you could get some help and do it... as a blocked gutter may pose problem if it rains !

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

Don't want to let them rot or it may get messy and attract pests!

14 Aug 2019 2:04pm

@Steven: The crows and squirrels may eat them up soon ! Aw!! Had I been a teenager, I would have climbed on that roof and b got them !

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

There they are!

14 Aug 2019 4:12pm

@Steve Rice: Yes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dreams come true from Utrecht, Netherlands

Nice diagonal photo of the roof.
Mangos are baked there with a lot of sun, which would be a shame.

14 Aug 2019 4:31pm

@Dreams come true: Dreams..they will vanish soon, as crows and squirrels will get them. The parakeets are a fussy lot..they eat the fruits off the tree and leave the seed hanging !!

Lakshmi from Chennai, India

Nice pic.. but sadly a waste of mangoes !!

14 Aug 2019 5:16pm

@Lakshmi: Aw!! They will soon be consumed by the crows and squirrels. The mynahs and pigeons will have the leftovers !

B. Thomas from Arlington, Texas, United States

Maybe the birds or insects will eat the ones that fall on the roof. Nice shot.

14 Aug 2019 8:53pm

@B. Thomas: You are right ! Yes..the ants, I forgot to mention...will eat whatever is left in the seed by the birds !

Irene from San Francisco, United States

Good shot.

14 Aug 2019 10:47pm

@Irene: Thank you Irene :)

Elaine Hancock from Olney, United States

I bet that they make quite a noise when they hit the roof.

15 Aug 2019 1:17am

@Elaine Hancock: Yes you are right ! They fall with a big bang !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And each time this happens, I rush to see it ( like a village person who has never seen airoplanes ) much to my hubby's amusement !

Harry from Apex, NC, United States

the ridges on the roof form nice lines leading to the vegetation

15 Aug 2019 2:21am

@Harry: Thank you Harry :)))

kiwisa from North Shore, New Zealand
