It is beautiful. Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, or Chinese rose, Kiinanruusu in Finnish, grows in our home. It's about 40 years old. We always look forward to its flowering with great interest.

This is beautiful. I love the yellow. I remember them growing in Hawaii when I was a child and sadly I did not really appreciate them then.

@Elaine Hancock: Thank you Elaine..there are quite some things we don't appreciate as children ..may be we were too caught up with other things to notice these !! Thank God, we appreciate these now..Similar to how we take our mothers for granted and realise how valuable they were , only late in life ! :))))
