Germinating Fenugreek seeds.
We use these extensively in our cooking. It packs a lot of nutrition and is medicinal too.
The sprouts are used for pickle making

@grouser: you are right..Once placed in soil in pots they grow fast and the leaves are also used for cooking. They smell great and add flabvour to the dishes
