A few mangoes have become large. Many are becoming large. This one has already been half eaten by the squirrels !! This tree is in our backyard and the fruits are very very sweet .
The squirrel knows the taste and enjoys the same things as humans.

In this picture I like to see the mango juice as it slides. It seems that it is indeed delicious. Here, we buy mangoes that have a red color.
Have a nice day my friend.

Great capture of this fruitful harvest! From experience it seems like there is a short turnaround between ripe and spent mangos.
11 Apr 2018 11:42am

@Claudiel: Yes..extrasensory NOSE !! Ha ha ha :)
Those squirrels! They will be sampling more.
11 Apr 2018 5:44pm
@Steve Rice: Yes sure they will. Once they are almost ripe, the gradener plucks them and we share. of course leaving a few for the squirrels and parak3eets. The crows are lazy..they will wait for someone else to eat half and then have an easy " feast on the left overs " .
You have a tasty backyard Devi.
11 Apr 2018 6:17pm

Those pesky squirrels. They get into everything! I planted some garlic today and they dug it up! A great image!
12 Apr 2018 1:24am
@Elaine Hancock: Aw!! That's too bad Elaine..Hope they stop digging the soil !
It is always a dilemma whether to leave the fruit to ripen further, risking it to birds and squirrels, or to pick it now before its peak.
12 Apr 2018 1:37am
@Harry: We pick ninety percent of the mangoes( what ever is left after they bite ) leaving ten percent for them !!
I'm glad you share your goodies with the critters. Some people think they are pests, but I like to watch them, and my cats really like to watch them from the window.
12 Apr 2018 2:24am
@B. Thomas: I love watching squirrels too. They are an energetic lot ! After all God creates most of these for them.:)))
The squirrels seem to know the tasty fruits. A fine shot of these mangoes in the tree.
Thank you Devi. :)
