Dead Bolt ?

Never knew that this was called a Dead Bolt !! From inside a hotel room.

This is tower bolt, a deadbolt needs mostly a key to open!

A dead bolt requires a distinctive action to open it as compared to spring loaded, normal door locks. A fine picture of a dead bolt.
