Here we are not allowed to give the birds rice, or bread. Just grains and seeds. I like the scene of the birds together. Birds are so wonderful to watch

In fact, we have the custom of giving the crow the first morsel of cooked rice with a small dollop of clarified butter every morning..they are supposed to represent the souls of our ancestors:)))))
It is important.

@Julie L. Brown, Photobirder: The crows here have a patch of grey on their necks Julie. The full jet black ones are known as ravens here.
Yes the pigeons and crows share the rice grains that i scatter.At times we have a couple of ambitious squirrels joining too:)) eat together!!
