Jypyä Pop from Turku, Finland

Looks tasty. Fun to watch when it does not happen in own garden.

11 Sep 2013 5:18am

@Jypyä Pop: Ha ha ha Jypya.. It always happens in mine!! At least fifty mangoes are eaten by the squirrels, parrots and crows!!

Doug from Burnham-on-Sea, United Kingdom

Superb capture, hope the squirrel had his share first ;-))

11 Sep 2013 5:54am

@Doug: The squirrel always has his share first!! He nibbles and gets to the core and the crow gets the balance!! The crow cannot get at a full mango unless it is down on the floor!!

Sam from Chennai, India

Another great shot of this crow. Fantastic capture, Devi.
Yes, I have seen many times this race between crows and squirrels.

Very beautiful composition, for eating in the animals is the law of the jungle. Unfortunately it is sometimes the same thing in humans.
